Indian seafood processor and exporter, Maria Aquacon Pvt Ltd. becomes the latest, and first Indian, partner in the Global Tuna Alliance, an independent group of retailers and tuna supply chain companies, who are committed to implementing the objectives laid out in the World Economic Forum’s Tuna 2020 Traceability Declaration.
Established in 1994, Maria Aquacon Pvt Ltd is located at Kanyakumari, the southernmost point of peninsular India and the meeting point of three oceans-the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean. Based within a short distance from major fishing harbours of southern Tamil Nadu, Maria Aquacon Pvt Ltd ’s main export markets are Europe, Canada, USA, Middle East and South East Asia.
